Phoenix
is a modern city - but even so you can find pockets of
history. One of the most striking, Heritage Square, is
located within walking distance of downtown Phoenix. The
area is well sign-posted and a not to be missed destination.
A striking remnant of Phoenix's Victorian past. The Rosson
House (pictured left) is the cornerstone of a city block
dating from the late 1800s.
Museums
and businesses now occupy the buildings which are the
only remaining group of residential structures from the
original townsite of Phoenix. The park makes up part of
the Heritage and Science Park.

Kirchoff, a Phoenix liquor dealer, he sold it in 1906
to Alejandro Silva, a Glendale rancher.
