A small museum - but every inch used - packed with information
and the history of the Phoenix Police Department from
it's beginnings in the 1800's when there was just a marshall
to look after law and order - right up to the role of
the department in the present day.
The first thing that strikes you about this museum is
the warmth and friendliness of its staff. On hand to answer
any questions you may have about the exhibits.
Children as well as adults will love it. Included in the
exhibits are a real patrol car and police motorcycle.
Make sure you take your camera so that you can get a picture
of the children either on the motorcycle, 'driving' the
patrol car or trying on a police uniform.
This museum is often overlooked - in fact when we visited
we asked several people where it was and they had never
heard of it. Make sure that you visit.
