Roy clears up a few points about the engine!
"the engine that you heard was the air compressor for the bottles to start the main engine, this was only got running on the previous Monday. Not bad since it had been half underwater and had no oil in it."

We are now in touch with Roy and hope to bring you regular updates on ship's progress along with hopefully some pictures taken prior to the restoration, showing just how much has been done.
