BBC
Radio Essex did it again. But this time it might be "The
Last Time". From 9th to the 14th August 2007 they
staged a recreation of offshore radio of the 1960s with
Pirate Radio Essex. The sounds of watery wireless could
be heard from transistors around Ha'penny Pier Harwich
as fans from around the globe visited to pay homage, look
at the boat from the pier or take a ferry trip out to
see it. Look at the special exhibition of Offshore Memorabilia
and maybe catch a glimpse of a dj (we spotted Dave Cash,
Keith Skues and was that John Aston as well who was looking
around himself?).
Who's
that man?

The
boat?... hmmm I think it's over there somewhere! (Dave
