This
is the one that really got the British broadcasters
and Government twitchy...when it first came on air it
offered non-stop Top 40 music with no ads and the claim
that you were "never more than a minute away from
the music". It soon built up an enormous listenership
and the authorities began their attempt to silence it.
In the end lack of money, supplies and low moral coupled
with the age old battle with the elements brought about
 her
demise.
Eventually
a return came about under the name of Laser Hots Hits
but technical problems abounded and soon the station was
no more. So
