Shania
has announced she is to perform in London, England on July 12th. "It's
still in the planning stages so we'll have to wait and see," she said.
"It's a one-off event and it's not associated with the tour as far as
production is concerned. Really it's just going to be a high-energy
rock-type stage show in the park. It's going to be a lot of fun." Shania,
who is planning to donate some of the proceeds of the date to the Prince's
Trust charity.
Shania and Mutt Lange have put their songwriting skills to work
in helping to write a new single for Michael Bolton.Called "Only A Woman
Like You," the title track andsingle from Bolton's new album.
The countdown is on for Shania Twain's much awaited follow-up
to the mega Come On Over. The big question is when? That's totally up
to Shania and Mutt Lange and, at this point, they have not given the
label a definite delivery date. Mercury points out they won't attempt
to pressure Twain either. They remember that they waited 6 months longer
than planned for the delivery of COME ON OVER and aren't about
to complain about how that turned out, with 18 million copies sold and
counting.
